Dear friends,
The Balloon Fiesta is over. Fall colors are getting more intense. Here, in Albuquerque, the cottonwoods are still greenish yellow, but look at what is happening in the Manzano Mountains!

I walked with my husband on the Crimson Trail several days ago and the colors of the Bigtooth Maples were stunning.

Chile and ristras glow hot red everywhere, intertwined with mild, medium or hot green. Christmas-y. The big ristra that you see adorns our house. Even the grasshoppers are checking it out. Pumpkins are being decorated by the sunlight getting ready for Halloween.

All these New Mexico colors are a feast for the eyes. Shown photographs and many others are available for sale in different sizes starting from 4x6 on a greeting card.

I hope to see you in Las Cruces or Placitas during my art show (see previous blog post).
